Who

Dario D'Ovidio (1989, Italy) is an Italian creative currently based in Rome. He explores the worlds of architecture, product design, graphic design, and photography.

He studied Architectural Engineering E.U. at the University of L'Aquila and attended international exchanges in Japan, Belgium, and the Netherlands to study.

With a passion for industrial design, graphic design, photography, and communication, he has attended numerous workshops in Italy and abroad, and has competed in various graphic design and architecture competitions.

His work has been showcased by notable companies such as PhotoVogue, Domusweb, Alvisi Kirimoto Architects, IlPost.it, Alessandro Borghese, Terrazze dell'Etna, Fondazione GOCA, among others.

In 2019 and 2020 he successfully passed the qualifying exams for both Architects and Engineers associations and is therefore qualified to exercise both roles within the territories of the European Union.


What

He's fascinated with the uncommon beauty of common things.

By exploring the concept of shape, he delves into the dynamics of urban spaces, examining how their effects are manipulated and the limits of spectacle based on our perceptions. Instead of presenting a straightforward reality, he creates an allusion to illustrate that beauty can be found in everyday objects and environments.
